Iwami Kagura is a traditional performing art in western Shimane. The fusion between the original Kagura, a dignified Shinto ritual, and Iwami's dynamic dancing and spectacular entertaining features hold audiences spellbound. Gorgeous costumes and masks are all hand made by locals.
